Shubhash Chand Agrawal, a gold medalist in B.com from Durga College in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, is a successful businessman with a diverse portfolio. He began his entrepreneurial journey in 1977 by establishing a family business in the tyre trading industry. Over time, he expanded his ventures to include pesticides, fertilizers, forest produce items, and automobiles. In 1986, he ventured into the steel business and founded Vandana rolling mills Pvt. Ltd. Thereafter, he started Vandana Ispat Pvt. Ltd in the year 1995.
Apart from his business endeavors, Subhash Chand Agrawal is actively involved in various philanthropic activities. He serves as a trustee of the Ramswaroopdas Niranjanlal Charitable Trust, which operates a Dharamshala providing 200 air-conditioned rooms and banquet halls to people of all castes without any rental charges. Additionally, he holds the position of director at the Ganga Diagnostic and Medical Research Centre. Subhash Chand Agrawal's contributions extend beyond business and charity. He has held prestigious positions such as past president of the CRA (Chhattisgarh Steel Chamber), Chhattisgarh steel re-rolling association, patron member of the Raipur Iron and Steel Association, and member of numerous social bodies.
