This Privacy Policy explains how Sunhera Job Consultancy ("Sunhera Job", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use our website sunherajob.com, our job portal at user.sunherajob.com and the SUNHERA JOB Android app (package com.sunherajob.mobileapp), together the "Services". It applies to job seekers, employers and interview panelists who use the Services.

By creating an account or using the Services you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information we collect

• Technical and log data: IP address, browser or app version, pages or screens requested, and date and time, recorded by our servers for security and troubleshooting. We also store the IP address submitted with Contact, expert-application and newsletter forms.
• Sign-in data on your device: the website and app keep a sign-in token in your browser's or device's local storage so you stay logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
• Content networks: the website loads fonts, icons and maps from third-party networks (such as Google and cdnjs), which receive your IP address when they deliver that content.

1.3 Android app permissions

• Location (only when you tap "use current location"): to fill in your address. It is used only at that moment and is not tracked in the background.
• Camera and photos/files: only when you choose to take or attach a profile photo, resume, logo or document to upload.
• Network state: to detect when you are offline.
• Installed UPI apps: the app checks which UPI payment apps are installed, so the Razorpay payment screen can offer them. We do not collect this list.

We do not use advertising, the Android advertising ID, analytics or crash-reporting tools, and we do not sell your personal data.

2. How we use your information

• To create and secure your account, verify your mobile number with an OTP and let you sign in.
• To run the job portal: publish job posts, let you apply to jobs, show your application to the employer, schedule interviews and send you updates about them.
• To provide our placement service, including matching candidates with suitable openings.
• To provide paid services such as Profile Highlight, Expert Verified, Feedback Verified and job-post or wallet top-ups, and to verify documents and identity for these services.
• To process payments, issue receipts and keep accounting and tax records.
• To answer your questions and send service messages by SMS or email (for example OTPs, interview schedules and payment confirmations).
• To prevent fraud and misuse, keep the Services secure, and comply with law.

3. How we share your information

• Employers: when you apply to a job, the employer who posted it can see your profile, contact details and resume. Our recruitment team may also share your profile with an employer hiring for a role that matches it. Profile Highlight places your profile above others in the lists employers see, and verification badges (Expert Verified, Feedback Verified) are shown on your profile.
• Panelists: a panelist conducting your interview can see your profile, contact details and resume, and the feedback they record is shown to you and is used for your verification badge.
• Job seekers: see job posts and the employer details included in them. Panelists' names, photos and professional details are shown publicly so seekers can choose one.
• Service providers who process data for us only to provide the Services:
  • Razorpay (payment processing), which receives the amount and the mobile number used to pre-fill checkout;
  • Reliable India SMS (delivery of OTP and SMS messages), which receives your mobile number and the message text;
  • Google, for email delivery and for Google Maps, Places and Geocoding (address search and maps), which receive the address or location being looked up;
  • Hetzner Online GmbH, our server hosting provider.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Sunhera Job, our users or others.
• Business transfer: if our business is merged or transferred, your data may be transferred to the new owner under this policy.

4. Where your data is stored

Our servers, including uploaded resumes and documents, are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany (European Union). Google and Razorpay may also process data in and outside India. By using the Services you consent to this transfer, which we carry out in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

5. How long we keep your data

• Account and profile data are kept while your account is active.
• When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your profile, resume, photos and uploaded documents within 30 days.
• Payment, invoice and accounting records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require (generally up to 8 years), even after your account is deleted.
• Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.

6. Deleting your account

Full steps, and what is deleted or kept, are on our account deletion page. In short: to delete your account and personal data, email career@sunherajob.com with the subject "Account deletion request" from your registered email address, or from any address with your registered mobile number included. We may contact you on your registered mobile number to confirm the request. We will confirm when deletion is complete. Records we must keep by law (Section 5) are retained only for that purpose.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law, you may:

• access a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct or update it (most details can be edited in your profile);
• ask us to erase it (see Section 6);
• withdraw consent at any time, which will stop the services that depend on it;
• nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity; and
• raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.

8. Security

We use HTTPS encryption for data in transit between your device and our servers, protect sign-in with passwords and one-time passwords (OTPs), keep identity documents and resumes in private storage that is not publicly accessible, and limit access to personal data to authorised staff who need it. No online service is completely secure, so please keep your password and OTPs private and tell us immediately if you suspect misuse of your account.

9. Children

The Services are meant for adults looking for work or hiring. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and for significant changes we will also notify you by email, SMS or in the app.
